Param Prasad Charitable Society (PPCS)
Param Prasad Charitable Society (PPCS) was established in the year 1993 in Satara by the visionary fathers of Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament (MCBS) a religious society from Kerala, to work for the integral development of various sections of the society in Maharashtra. Param Prasad Charitable Society is registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 with the registration No. MAH/2642/93/Satara and under Bombay Public Trust Act with the registration No. F2621/Satara having its registered office at Divyakarunya Bhavan, BasappaPeth, Karanje, Satara, Maharashtra-415001. Param Prasad Charitable Society (PPCS) works in Satara and Solapur District which comes under the territory of Kalyan Diocese, a unit of Syro Malabar Roman Catholic Church.
Param Prasad Charitable Society is the Registered Charitable Society of Satara-Solapur Mission and it coordinates all the developmental and charitable works of the Mission. It has made impressive strides in the field of general education, special education, rehabilitation, health care and women empowerment. PPCS is well known in the vicinity of Satara & Solapur districts through its dedicated service. Last 27 years of fruitful service in these two districts have brought name and fame for the society. It has 12 developmental centers in these districts and more than 450 personnel are engaged in developmental as well as charitable works.
Param Prasad Charitable society has got tremendous achievements in all the fields especially in the field of rural education. Having a prophetic vision our pioneer missionaries have started schools in Mhawsad and Lonand in the year 1993 with the aim of giving value based education to rural areas. Thereafter we have started different centers to uplift the downtrodden people of society along with number of educational institutions at Solapur, Barshi, Dahiwadi and Panchagani.
